Lotus Blossom meets Big Day

Two Sale-a-Bration sets combine to make a really simple card that’s so quick and easy to make. I used Calypso Coral for the first two layers of petals, and Crisp Cantaloupe for the largest, background layer. I haven’t yet bothered doubling up on the stem; I like it as it is so it doesn’t seem worth the effort of lining them up.... even though it’s very easy with photopolymer.

In other news, registration for my All-Day Craftathon has now closed and I’m happy to say that it’s fully booked! All I have to do now is complete the projects and place the order.  I’ve been putting some finishing touches to one of the projects today and getting in a bit of a mess with texture paste. But I can’t wait to put it all together and see what the ladies think of this fun (but sticky!) technique.
